I hae been playing with RSS a little. It seems like it ought to be very useful, but somehow it hasn't become so for me. If you read blogs it would seem indispensible. However, I do not. That said, I tried to figure out RSS under-the-hood a little and arrived at thew following feeds that you might find useful, but probably not.
Mark's Research Activity Feed: This one is essentially an RSS feed of my research activities web page. You subscribe to this feed using the URL: http://www.icir.org/mallman/research/rss.xml
I-D Announcement Feed: I cannot cope with a zillion messages a day that announce individual Internet-Drafts. So, long ago I invoked some procmail and perl magic to collect up the announcements and email the collection to me once per day. Given I had the collection already it seemed like a natural item to put into a feed. You can subscribe to this feed via the URL: http://www.icir.org/mallman/rss/i-d/id.xml
