either you have a well known ssm mcast addr per sap server or you have
a well known web page - same difference - 

the scaling: if yo ucan have 10,000 sessions of video, you can sure
happily have 10,000 session announcements.....

search engines: are not standard. sure, they are a _piece_ of the
picture.
